Paging Plus was formed in 1995 when the need for reliable local paging coverage became increasingly evident. Aligned with JS Electronics, Inc., a radio communications sales and service center providing equipment and services to public safety and business since 1978, our initial intent was to merely service the local Marinette, Wisconsin and Menominee, Michigan territories. With an overwhelming response to our paging service and increasing numbers of business customers we discovered the need for extended service area coverage.

Our build-out progressed both northerly into Upper Michigan and southward and westward into Wisconsin. At this time we began to align ourselves with other paging carriers sharing our frequency. We also became affiliates of the Metrocall network allowing us to provide regional and nation-wide roam paging services to our customers.

Paging Plus currently owns and operates transmitter equipment throughout parts of Upper Michigan and Wisconsin. Our ever-expanding Local Plus coverage now includes portions of Central and North Central Wisconsin as well as Minneapolis/St. Paul through Duluth/Superior in Minnesota.
